A tsunami alert was issued after a magnitude 7.4 earthquake shook southern Mexico. The epicenter was reported below the ground, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
Frightened by the quake, doctors, nurses, and patients also came out of the hospitals. Some people could not control their emotions and kept crying.
According to foreign media, the quake was so severe that potholes fell on the roads in some places. A magnitude 7.1 earthquake shook Mexico in 2017, killing at least 335 people.
