Unarmed Security Operative
You may be looking for a course that will allow you to work as an unarmed security operative, or perhaps one that will allow you to work as an armed security operative. This will depend on whether or not your employer requires you to carry out certain duties.
If you are working as an unarmed security operative, then it is likely that your employer will not require anything more than basic training in self-defence techniques and awareness of how best to deal with various situations when dealing with members of the public. However, if they do wish for their employees to carry out some form of physical intervention then they will likely want them to have obtained specialised training in this area before doing so.
Security Awareness Training (SAT)

Basic Fire Awareness Training (BFAT)
This is another entry-level course designed for all employees who work in security sensitive environments. The course covers basic fire awareness, including what causes fires and how they spread, as well as how you can help prevent them from happening in the first place. You’ll also learn about emergency evacuation procedures and how to extinguish small fires safely before calling 999 or 112 emergency services if necessary.
